The existing form was made over 100 years
   ago this precious small piece is very      
   interesting, therefore an antique in its
   own right.
   I cannot speak too highly of this piece,
   it has excellent proportions combined
   with superb colour and patination.    
   The brushing/writing slide is a nice
   feature, all in all a super lot which,
   if it were to be
   all original of the period, would cost a
   small fortune.
   This lovely little piece will certainely
   be a sound investment as a pleasure for
   your eyes and your purse!
